Meet Dr. Lamb!
Dr. Alycia Lamb received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Colby College. She then attended Harvard where she completed all the prerequisite course work for veterinary school. She moved from Boston to the Pacific Northwest with her faithful canine companion, Fritz, to attend Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lamb received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, and moved to Seattle to begin her career in small animal medicine.

Dr. Lamb grew up working with children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Her mother, a physical therapist, directed a camp on Martha's Vineyard Island where Dr. Lamb ran the therapeutic horseback-riding program.

As her career in veterinary medicine progressed, Dr. Lamb realized that there was a lack of physical rehabilitation for her canine and feline patients. She completed a certificate program from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2005, to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and the first one to practice in Seattle. She opened Sunset Hill Vet & Rehab Ctr. to combine the two professions she adored: General Veterinary Practice and Physical Rehabilitation. Her goal was to create an environment that supported all the medical needs of her patients while providing comfort and reassurance to the patients as well as the clients.

Dr. Lamb lives in Ballard with her family, including her cat, Phee. In her spare time (of which there is very little!) she enjoys gardening, reading and running.

Meet Dr. Androski!

Dr. Deanna Androski grew up in suburb of Chicago where she first began working with dogs and cats at a large boarding kennel. She knew from age 12 that she had an affinity for animals, but it was really her interest in medicine and surgery that drove her to become a vet. She attended the University of Missouri – Columbia on a National Merit scholarship and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998.

After graduating from college, Dr. Androski moved to the Seattle area to begin her career in general small animal practice. She has been here over 12 years now and is still excited about exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She is even more enthusiastic about her chosen profession.

"This really is the best job in the world. Every case is unique and every day is guaranteed to be different than the day before. What I really love about general veterinary practice though is being able to provide comprehensive care through all life stages for our patients. I especially enjoy internal medicine, anesthesia, and soft tissue surgery, but it’s the whole package that makes general small animal practice so interesting and challenging. It’s also always changing. It’s a priority to me to stay current with the advances our profession is making – it’s good medicine and keeps practice fresh and fun. I also truly love working with animals. Building relationships with their owners is the icing on the cake."

Dr. Androski currently commutes from Bellevue and likes to unwind at Houghton Beach which is only 3 minutes from her home. She’s looking forward to practicing in our Ballard neighborhood and being part of the Sunset Hill team. She enjoys good food, yoga, reading, and has taken two American Sign Language classes at her local community college. Her pets include a 3-legged mixed breed dog named Edgar Manuel, and an orange tabby named Moe Stripey.

Meet Dr. Mihok!

Dr. Michele Mihok was born and raised in Dover, Delaware. She knew from a very young age she wanted to be a veterinarian, the best job in the world! She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate studies in animal bioscience while playing on their Division I field hockey team - which she misses dearly. Following graduation, she attended North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine she started her career at a small animal hospital in rural South Carolina. She then moved to the Seattle area with her husband, who works for Boeing, to continue the career she loves. She is truly dedicated to the profession and makes continuing education a top priority. Her interests in the veterinary field are broad; including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, behavior, and rehabilitation.

Dr. Mihok lives in Seattle with her husband Dave and their three big dogs Sammie, Buster, and Lilly. She enjoys camping, hiking, running, scrapbooking, and the beach. She is looking forward to being a part of the Sunset Hill team and creating wonderful relationships with the clients and their pets.

Juliana has an amazing memory and never forgets a patient's name or the details of their personality, making their visit with us as pleasurable for them as possible. When she's not admitting a patient or helping with treatments she is probably at home with her husband Jesse playing with Nala, Freya, Riley, and Arrow, their cats and dogs, planning their next camping trip or watching movies.

Meet Erika!

Erika has been with us since early 2011 and truly enjoys the barks and mews each new day brings!  Though Erika's love of music had her working in the industry for over seven years in Los Angeles, she decided it was time to switch gears and focus on her love of animals by working in the field.

Erika has a BA in Communications from Loyola Marymount University and is currently going to school to grow in the

veterinary field.

Next to roadtrips with her husband, Jon, and their four-legged girl, Kahless, Erika treasures spending quality time with her family in L.A. and Seattle, martial arts, making music & art, reading, kayaking, skiing, star-gazing, watching Animal Planet & the Travel Channel as well as documentaries about world cultures & the universe.  Erika loves travelling whenever and wherever possible!
