Meet Dr. Lamb!
Dr. Alycia Lamb received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Colby College. She then attended Harvard where she completed all the prerequisite course work for veterinary school. She moved from Boston to the Pacific Northwest with her faithful canine companion, Fritz, to attend Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lamb received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, and moved to Seattle to begin her career in small animal medicine.

Dr. Lamb grew up working with children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. Her mother, a physical therapist, directed a camp on Martha's Vineyard Island where Dr. Lamb ran the therapeutic horseback-riding program.

As her career in veterinary medicine progressed, Dr. Lamb realized that there was a lack of physical rehabilitation for her canine and feline patients. She completed a certificate program from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2005, to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and the first one to practice in Seattle. She opened Sunset Hill Vet & Rehab Ctr. to combine the two professions she adored: General Veterinary Practice and Physical Rehabilitation. Her goal was to create an environment that supported all the medical needs of her patients while providing comfort and reassurance to the patients as well as the clients.

Dr. Lamb lives in Ballard with her family, including her dog, Wilbur, and cat, Phee. In her spare time (of which there is very little!) she enjoys gardening, reading and running.

Meet Deanna!
Dr. Deanna Androski grew up in suburb of Chicago where she first began working with dogs and cats at a large boarding kennel. She knew from age 12 that she had an affinity for animals, but it was really her interest in medicine and surgery that drove her to become a vet. She attended the University of Missouri – Columbia on a National Merit scholarship and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998.

After graduating from college, Dr. Androski moved to the Seattle area to begin her career in general small animal practice. She has been here over 11 years now and is still excited about exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She is even more enthusiastic about her chosen profession.

"This really is the best job in the world. Every case is unique and every day is guaranteed to be different than the day before. What I really love about general veterinary practice though is being able to provide comprehensive care through all life stages for our patients. I especially enjoy internal medicine, anesthesia, and soft tissue surgery, but it’s the whole package that makes general small animal practice so interesting and challenging. It’s also always changing. It’s a priority to me to stay current with the advances our profession is making – it’s good medicine and keeps practice fresh and fun. I also truly love working with animals. Building relationships with their owners is the icing on the cake."

Dr. Androski currently commutes from Bellevue and likes to unwind at Houghton Beach which is only 3 minutes from her home. She’s looking forward to practicing in our Ballard neighborhood and being part of the Sunset Hill team. She enjoys good food, yoga, reading, and has taken two American Sign Language classes at her local community college. Her pets include a 3-legged mixed breed dog named Edgar Manuel, a 21 year old tabby cat named Guapo, and a Devon Rex cat named Aspen.

Bali's battle with Feline Leukemia ended in 2006 after living over 5 years with the disease. In her spare time, Jen enjoys many outside activities as well as soaking up the Seattle sunshine reading at the beach. She has 2 other wonderful kitties Earl and Jolie.
